Specific individual searches
Cost is £12 per hour. Ring or Email us for a chat first.

You may not require a full family history research into one or more lines of your ancestry. Rather, you may wish a search to be made for a specific birth, marriage or death certificate (after 1837 in England, 1855 in Scotland), for a census entry (1841 to 1901), or an entry of baptism, marriage or burial from a parish register or a probate document, or just some help.

Complete family history

After research has been completed you will receive the documents discovered with pedigree charts, genealogy reports, kinship reports etc. The report will be bound using comb binding except Toiuchstone and Exemplar that come bound hard back if you wish. The story of your family will be told in the context of their times. It will include photos and descriptions of the villages they lived in. We like to include your family photos.

The longer the research the greater the amount of information. It usually takes about 40 hours research to obtain enough information and documents to create a book of about 40 pages (80 sides). Touchstone is a very popular service.

NB:Birth, marriage and Death Certificates and research documents purchased on behalf of the customer are additional.
